New Crossroads Academy is a free, online option for high school students in Cochise County who have dropped out and want to earn their diploma. It was developed by the office of Cochise County School Superintendent Jacqui Clay and powered by Grad Solutions. The program is available for students between 16 and 21 years old.

Are you eligible?

You must be between 16-21, live in Cochise County, and not currently enrolled in school.

How can this be free?

New Crossroads Academy was established to meet the online educational needs of students in Cochise County, providing a unique and innovative approach to learning. As part of the Cochise County Public Schools, it’s completely free for eligible students! To learn more, complete an interest form and we’ll be happy to discuss any questions you have.

Do I qualify?

To qualify for this program, you must:

  • Be a resident of Cochise County
  • Be between ages 16 – 21
  • Not be currently enrolled in a school

Since this program is 100% online, access to a computer and the internet is also required.

Will I earn my GED or a diploma?

Upon completion, this program will award you with an accredited high school diploma. By earning your diploma, you will better your job prospects and increase your earning potential. Since New Crossroads Academy is fully accredited, your diploma will also be accepted when applying for college or university.

What makes this different from other programs?

New Crossroads Academy offers a unique student experience. We know the right support can be a difference maker for our students. When you become a student, you will be assigned a personal mentor to help see you through from start to finish. They will offer support that’s tailor fit to you and access to resources to help you succeed.

Am I a good fit for this?

Is this program totally online?

Yes! Students are able to complete their courses entirely online. You must have a computer to access your coursework and communicate with your mentor and instructors.
